GRAVITY- Is it a force? or is it a thing? – by Gordon Clarke

New Gravity theory suggests that space has always existed to the same extent as is observed today. There was no Big Bang and all the energy and substance that exists was created by the motion of space only. How this occurred, as parts of space moved inevitably collisions happened and in turning to spin created huge amounts of tiny permanent particles spinning at huge revolutions per second. all of these now permanent masses pull on space forever. Thus there is no attraction between masses merely the two masses pull the same space towards them. The inference, that streams of space are always moving in the presence of a mass . So when an object released on earth immediately falls to ground, it does so because it has joined the stream of space moving to earth from all directions. Not a force but an entity on the move.

No other theory gives a mechanical explanation for gravity.

So far as the expanding universe goes this, based on the redshift of light,  is based on the belief that the cause is the recession of galaxies etc. from our view and thereby reducing the frequency of light. To explain the faster and faster recession apparently seen imaginary forces or masses are touted. The obvious answer is that light waves travel a very fine filament of space from its origin that is streaming towards the mutual origin thereby reducing the frequency and increasing the wavelength.

The waves of light are running against the flow  of space. No need for imaginary masses or forces. The simplest answer is usually correct.

My paper “Much ado about nothing”  included the above ideas and was dismissed without detailed reasons. no record of this paper was kept and no further correspondence was to be considered. Nevertheless books about nothing, even including the Shakespearean  quote appeared soon after. One of these books was suggested to the author of the book  by one of the peer reviewers who is still alive!
